Year end Summary: As a result of the Partnership’s advocacy, the Connecticut legislature extended and strengthened the pesticide ban to include all day care facilities in Connecticut. Additionally, the Partnership collaborated with the DEP and NOFA in three compost workshops for municipal officials. The Partnership also worked with the staff at the Connecticut Governor’ Residence to convert the lawns to organic care.
