A Collective Responsibility

More than three centuries of intensive human activity along the Quinnipiac River has taken its toll on the water quality, wildlife and surrounding ecosystem. While the river’s health has greatly improved in recent decades, pollutants continue to migrate into the water from a range of sources including businesses, farms, homes, municipalities and roads. Stopping pollution and restoring the river and watershed is a collective responsibility shared by all.
