Year end Summary: Extensively documented successful transitions to natural land care in Cheshire. Spinoffs of the Safe Grounds Campaign include promotion of the use of municipal leaf compost as an inexpensive resource for improving municipal soil, as well as the promotion of research on the use of a bacillus that causes milky spore disease and destroys insect larvae that eat grass roots.
