The Quinnipiac River is an ecological treasure. Flowing nearly 40 miles, it is a vital corridor for wildlife and offers beautiful settings for paddling, hiking, and bird watching. 

While the Quinnipiac’s water quality has rebounded in recent decades, many sections suffer from a long history of pollution. Restoring the entire river to health for the benefit of present and future generations is in everyone’s interest.
