Projects

To support volunteer monitoring, Stream Walk problem assessment, regulatory research, grassroots advocacy, education - upper and lower river, and general public education.

To continue efforts in support of the Quinnipiac River Linear Trail Project and the development of a greenway corridor along the Quinnpiac River Watershed.  Activities will include further land acquisition, trail development, public outreach and education with regard to environmental and recreational aspects of the river.

To build a new touchtank at the East Shore Park Ranger Station at Lighthouse Point Park & to develop printed materials.

To organize the community that live in NH QRiver section to learn about the river & establish a permanent advocacy group.

To involve inner city youth in learning about and protecting the marine environment.
