to support advocating for state and local permits affecting water quality and quantity, including evaluating a proposed trash sorting facility in North Haven; bacteria monitoring using community partners and the Southwest Conservation District lab and cutting log jams in Quinnipiac River State Park.

to support the Be the Solution to Pollution project which raises awareness of how pollution threatens the health of humans, animals, and the environment along the Quinnipiac River.

to support a community education course to train 20 New Haven residents about ways to reduce water pollution in the Quinnipiac River and its human health impacts, who will in turn educate 1000 additional residents in the community.

To provide general operating support for fostering awareness of environmental issues of the Quinnipiac River and promoting activities that safeguard the health of residents that use the Quinnipiac River.

To support the education of fishers on safe consumption of fish from the Quinnipiac River and work with the State Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to ensure fish signage is posted in the area in appropriate languages as well as support an exchange program where Quinnipiac River fishers can trade their lead weights for non-lead weights.

To continue to educate fishers on safe consumption of fish by volunteers, bilingual safe fishing signage posted at river locales and by building grassroots support for a new state ban on lead fishing weights in the interest of fishers' and wildlife well-being.

To educate fishers on the safe consumption of fish from the Quinnipiac River and to work with the State Department of Environmental Protection to ensure fish signage is posted in fishing areas in common languages such as English, Spanish, Chinese, Kmer, Lao and Vietnamese.

To involve young people from Quinnipiac Terrace in Fair Haven in educational and recreational activities on the Quinnipiac River.
