To support the education of fishers on safe consumption of fish from the Quinnipiac River and work with the State Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to ensure fish signage is posted in the area in appropriate languages as well as support an exchange program where Quinnipiac River fishers can trade their lead weights for non-lead weights.

To involve inner-city youth in learning how they are connected to their aquatic and marine environment.

To establish a site or home page on the World Wide Web to disseminate information regarding the QR and New Haven Harbor ecosystems.

Continued development of the GIS for the Quinnipiac River Watershed.

To measure the quantity of bioavailable toxic forms of dissolved heavy metals in the QR seasonally and during storm events.

To establish a comprehensive multi- disciplinary watershed planning initiative to improve the quality of the environment in the QR Watershed.

To establish an individual as the primary point person to be an advocate for clean water and to address local pollution problems using Soundkeeper.

To involve young people from Quinnipiac Terrace in Fair Haven in educational and recreational activities on the Quinnipiac River.

To conduct restoration of its 9.4 acre parcel along the Quinnipiac River to remove rubble and debris degrading tidal wetland on the parcel.

To produce three large laminated computer-generated graphic displays on the Quinnipiac River for use on educational field trips and canoe trips.
