To support a Public Works Department pilot program to retrofit hooded outlet protection on ten existing stormwater catch basins that are in stormwater systems that outlet to the Quinnipiac River or one of its tributaries.

To support staffing for programs including boating event rentals, club boating programs, and vendor-operated rentals of kayaks and paddle boards on the New Haven Harbor and on the Quinnipiac and Mill rivers.

To support a summer employment program for New Haven youth that will engage participants and community members in reducing the pollution in the Quinnipiac by stormwater run-off through a storm drain stenciling art, data collection, education, and outreach program.

To support a half day Quinnipiac Update conference; improvements to public access to the Little River, a Quinnipiac tributary, at Lowe's on Route 80 in New Haven; education of phosphorus control; and promotion of pollution and diversion permit participation.

To support identification, characterization and assessment of industrial pollutants in water and on indigenous fish populations in the Quinnipiac River.

To support expanding the trail network, conservation management plan, and educational programming of Quinnipiac Meadows Nature Preserve and expanding the Schooner Summer Camp programming.

To support the monitoring of marsh surface elevations as well as the salinity and vegetation in one lobe of the marsh, and to support preliminary analysis of marsh migration at the Quinnipiac Meadows Preserve.

To support measuring mercury in fish from ponds spanning the Quinnipiac River's watershed to see where it exceeds safety thresholds.

To support the study of several sites along the Quinnipiac River to trace sources of endocrine disruptors and toxicity.

To support the study of copper uptake efficiency of various ulvoid species in order to pinpoint potential candidates for bioremediation of heavy metals at marine and brackish water sites along the Quinnipiac River.
