to support the improvement of public access on the lower Quinnipiac River, as well as to support advocating on state and local permits affecting water quality and quantity, and carry out bacteria monitoring.

to support reclaiming a floodplain habitat of Wharton Brook from invasive plant species, in partnership with a science class at Lyman Hall High School in Wallingford.

To support the creation of 360 degree panoramic images along the Quinnipiac River and its passive recreation trails which will be viewable in an interactive Google maps 3D GIS whole earth model with newly created geolocated panoramic orbs.

to support the improvement of public access to the Quinnipiac River by clearing, cleaning up, and maintaining the Blue Trail along the river's west bank in the Quinnipiac River State Park.

to support the Be the Solution to Pollution project which raises awareness of how pollution threatens the health of humans, animals, and the environment along the Quinnipiac River.

To support a study about the impacts of wastewater from municipal waste water treatment plants on fish health in the Quinnipiac River.

To support signage which will include a trail map and information about the natural history and historical aspects of the area for the Phase III section of the Quinnipiac River Linear Trail which will extend 1.25 miles northward from the current terminus of the Trail at the Wilbur Cross Parkway underpass.

To support a municipal regulation review of the Quinnipiac River watershed towns in order to collect and assess provisions that are protective of water quality and to support two one-half day workshops for land use commission members and staff in which the findings will be presented and recommendations will be discussed.

To support the review of Cytec's National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) water permit for discharges into the Quinnipiac River and see if there have been any violations of their permit during this year or during the past 5 years.

To support consultant/professional work required to support the definition and granting of land easements from private property owners along the river where the intended route of the trail is located.
