to support the improvement of public access on the lower Quinnipiac River, as well as to support advocating on state and local permits affecting water quality and quantity, and carry out bacteria monitoring.

to support reclaiming a floodplain habitat of Wharton Brook from invasive plant species, in partnership with a science class at Lyman Hall High School in Wallingford.

to support the improvement of public access to the Quinnipiac River by clearing, cleaning up, and maintaining the Blue Trail along the river's west bank in the Quinnipiac River State Park.

to support the Be the Solution to Pollution project which raises awareness of how pollution threatens the health of humans, animals, and the environment along the Quinnipiac River.

To support a study about the impacts of wastewater from municipal waste water treatment plants on fish health in the Quinnipiac River.

To support a municipal regulation review of the Quinnipiac River watershed towns in order to collect and assess provisions that are protective of water quality and to support two one-half day workshops for land use commission members and staff in which the findings will be presented and recommendations will be discussed.

To support consultant/professional work required to support the definition and granting of land easements from private property owners along the river where the intended route of the trail is located.

To support the Quinnipiac Urban River Stewardship project, which will install several river stewardship signs in prominent locations to promote human links to this urban river and foster stewardship of the shared resource, as recommended in the watershed management plan for a similar urban river, the North Branch of the Park River in Hartford/Bloomfield.

To support the New Haven Harbor Data Project which will create and maintain an online catalog of data about New Haven Harbor and will be accessible on Schooner's website.

To support homeowner workshops and outreach and to initiate data analysis and focus group research to design a program to best serve homeowners who want organic land care for their properties.
